Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using sitemapgenerator.ai ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. The Service

Sitemapgenerator.ai provides tools for generating XML sitemaps, checking URL health, and scheduling automatic site re-crawls. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You may only crawl websites that you own or have explicit permission to crawl. You must not:

• Use the Service to crawl websites without authorisation.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or plan limits through technical means.
• Use the Service to harm, disrupt, or conduct unauthorised testing on third-party sites.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Plans and Billing

The Free plan is provided at no cost subject to the limits described on the Pricing page. The Pro plan is a monthly subscription billed in advance.

• Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We do not issue automatic refunds for partial months. Refund requests within 7 days of purchase are considered case-by-case — contact us at contact@sitemapgenerator.ai.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, and content, is owned by sitemapgenerator.ai and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your crawl data and sitemaps belong to you. We do not claim ownership over any content on the websites you crawl.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that crawl results will be complete or accurate. Use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, sitemapgenerator.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which sitemapgenerator.ai is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
